Fond du Lac hadn’t had a local craft brewery open for business in 84 years. Then, in 2025, Fond du Lac Beer Company opened its doors just off Main Street (traditionally, Highway 175, U.S. 41, U.S. 45, and the Yellowstone Trail!)
Fond du Lac Beer Company offers up a series of local craft beers along with an impressive menu of snacks and meals to enjoy with them. At last check, here were some of their beer selections:
- Mo’ Citra Pale Ale
- Project Amber, a red ale
- 20 and Done New England IPA
- Lighthouse Blonde
- Hodgepodge, a mild light lager
- ESB (Extra Special Bitter)
- Pier Vanilla Porter
They also serve some guest beers from crafters from Michigan to Massachusetts, and the fantastic 1919 Root Beer made by Schell’s Brewery in New Ulm, Minnesota – which is quite a beer town in itself. They also offer NAs, gluten-free beers, some seltzers, and more.
The kitchen also serves a variety of sandwiches, burgers, and sides like poutine, fries, curds, onion rings, pretzels, and pizzas. Their cheese curds are particularly noteworthy, served up as larger squares served with ranch and a changing variety of the special “curd of the month” offering up different flavors and cheese varieties. Because beer and cheese go together like nothing else in Wisconsin.
They host various community events too, including car shows, yoga and beer sessions, fundraisers, and more. See what they’re up to here!
