Copperfest celebrates Wisconsin’s “Copper Country” in Oconto, and this year Copperfest is celebrating 37 years! Come join the fun on June 7, 8 and 9, 2019.
Great music will includes performances by Subject 2 Change, Pretty Naughty, Spitfire Rodeo, Johnny Wad, and Aaron Socha Livewire.
Grilling enthusiasts Mad Dog & Merrill are back, plus Duke Otherwise, Brayson’s Bouncers, Cassady’s Critters, UTL wrestling, a trout pond, horseshoe tournament, fireworks, children’s games, and much more!
The Artist Village with roughly 120 artists and crafters from all over the state runs Friday from 5-9pm, Saturday 10am-5pm, and Sunday 10am-3pm.
The Car Show takes place Saturday 10am-4pm. It’s a judged show with People’s Choice, Children’s Choice, Copperfest Committee Pick, Best of Show and more!
All events will take place at Ner Park at the corner of Madison and Arbutus in Oconto.
Copperfest Admission:
Advanced wristbands are $5 for all weekend and $2 for seniors/youth. Kids under 5 are free. Otherwise, daily admission prices are:
Friday: $4.00
Saturday: $5.00
Sunday: $2.00
The Friday Kick-off Breakfast is catered by Wayne’s Family Restaurant starting at 6:30am-8:30am, with the crowning of Miss Copperfest at 8:00am. This will happen at the Copperfest grounds (Ner Park), at the corner of Madison & Arbutus.
Saturday’s Parade starts at 10:00am with a “Celebrating our Heritage” theme. The Parade route is from the corner of Chicago and Farnsworth to Main Street down to Park Ave and ending at Monroe and Park Ave.
Fireworks will kick off at 9:30pm Saturday night at Ner Park.

You’ll find Oconto at the eastern end of Highway 22, right at U.S. 41. It’s about eight miles east of U.S. 141 and 10 miles south of Highway 64. Copperfest is in town, and just east past downtown is the shores of Green Bay, with lakeside parks and piers and a view across the bay to Door County. It’s only about half an hour from the city of Green Bay and twenty minutes from Marinette.
