Sturgeon Spirits Craft Distillery

Oshkosh welcomed Sturgeon Spirits Craft Distillery in 2022. They distil and serve in a cozy tasting room on Oregon Street on the city’s south side nestled between Wittman Regional Airport (home of EAA AirVenture) and Lake Winnebago.

Sturgeon Spirits started with a vodka. They expanded into others over time, and today offer up quite a variety:

Osh-Gave [pronounced “OSH-gah-vey”] is their version of tequila, distilled from agave plants but it’s not technically tequila because it’s not from Mexico. But it’s still like tequila. They have a jalapeno version, too
Apple Brandy
Vodka: Blackberry, Raspberry, Cranberry, Barrel-Aged, Habanero, Cucumber, Black Pepper, Dill, Garlic, Pear, Sweet Tea, Cherry (from Door County), River Run, and more
Gin: Blood Orange, Mushroom,
Rum
Whiskey and Bourbon

The Tasting Room on Oregon Street offers up flights that allow you to pick four spirits (at a time) to sample; you can also enjoy a wide variety of cocktails. You can browse all the bottles and buy what you like, to-go.

They host events at times, including a fun run in conjunction with nearby Fifth Ward Brewing. You can buy and send gift boxes to friends around the country, too.

You’ll find Sturgeon Spirits Craft Distillery south of downtown Oshkosh on Oregon Street, a little west of U.S. 45, northeast of the end of Highway 26, south off Highway 44, and about two miles east of I-41. If you drive an EV, they have charging stations in their lot, too. Regardless of what you drive, it’s worth the search!
