Littleport Brewing Company, downtown Racine

Racine added another craft brewery with the opening of Littleport Brewing Company, which debuted in 2021 after four years of active preparation.

The name “Littleport” refers to both an Iowa town one of the founders hails from, and Racine’s own status as a sizable, but still smaller city, port. Owned by Mark and Chris Flynn, the brewery focuses on a variety of cream ales, Australian pales, an Imperial Helles, and even a Finnish Sahti. Their tap wall delivers 21 beers in all, some Littleport crafts and others from various craft breweries around Wisconsin. They also have a variety of sodas for guests who aren’t into beer as much as you.

Littleport updated their brewing to a 10 BBL system shortly after opening and plans to expand capacity further as they grow.

They also have several seltzers on tap in a variety of flavors.

For food, Littleport offers Milwaukee Pretzel Co. hot baked pretzels and stone-fired Lotsa Mozza pizzas with a variety of topping options. You are also welcome to bring your own food in, or take delivery from one of the many restaurants in downtown Racine.

You’ll find Littleport Brewing Company on the corner of 3rd & Wisconsin, just above the Root River in downtown Racine. It’s one block south of Highway 38 (State Street) and one block west of Highway 32 (Main Street). Highway 20 comes in from four blocks to the south as 6th and 7th Streets. Across Wisconsin you’ll find Hop To It, a brewing and winemaking supply store also owned by Mark & Chris Flynn. There is plenty of street parking along with a garage nearby.
