Here’s where and when the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop in Wisconsin

The annual Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is BACK this year, rumbling across the North American continent with a beautifully decked out train covered in lights and holiday decorations. The train will stop in 13 locations in Wisconsin, letting people get a closer look, donate to local community food banks, and enjoy live musical entertainment. Here’s where and when you can find the CP Holiday Train from Thursday, December 8th through Saturday, December 10th.

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train returns after a pandemic-related absence, and it hits Wisconsin Thursday, December 8th through Saturday, December 10th! It will not only light up the landscape as it traverses the state on the CP Rail tracks, it will make stops in 13 locations. At each, they will raise money and donate to local community food banks and you can enjoy live entertainment from Canadian musicians Alan Doyle and Kelly Prescott. Each stop will last approximately 30 minutes, and all are welcome to check it out!

Want to road trip along the train route?

From the Illinois state line to the Milwaukee area, I-41/94 and Highways 31 and 38 generally parallel the rail line a few miles away. In Wauwatosa, follow Highway 181 off I-94, State Street west from Highway 175 in Milwaukee, or Watertown Plank Road east from I-41/U.S. 45 in Wauwatosa. From Hartland all the way to La Crosse, Highway 16 follows the route closely!
