Applefest is an annual celebration in Two Rivers, filling the town’s Central Park with apple growers, bakers, and apple lovers enjoy this incredible fruit. An arts and crafts fair, apple pie social, and all kinds of entertainment will also take place throughout the day.
This year’s Applefest takes place on Saturday, October 12th from 9 am – 4 pm. You’ll find all the action in Central Park, right along Highway 42. This is also the place where the ice cream sundae was invented, so check out the Washington House and enjoy one in the original location. Explore the East and West Twin Rivers, the fascinating Rogers Street Historic Fishing Village, Neshotah Beach, and the beautiful area around the lakefront and city.
The drive along Lake Michigan on Highway 42/Memorial Drive between Two Rivers and Manitowoc is beautiful too, and there’s plenty more to see in Manitowoc, less than six miles away!
