Kohler is a “company town” built to house the workers of The Kohler Company as well as its offices and factories. Today, still home to The Kohler Company and a fair number of its local employees, the Village of Kohler offers The American Club, the Kohler Design Center, the Shops at Woodlake and a host of other upscale places to visit and enjoy.

The Kohler Design Center features a history museum downstairs, showing everything from the company’s founding to earlier examples of its products, including power generators.
