First Fridays in Racine« Back to Events
Enjoy some Friday night fun during First Fridays Racine, taking place along Main Street in Downtown Racine from April – October from 4-9pm! It happens throughout the downtown area, centered on Monument Square where Highways 20 and 38 cap the ends of a main thoroughfare that is Highway 32.
Friday, August 4th, 2023 salutes Country music!
The Downtown Racine Corporation’s First Friday is back August 4th from 4pm-9pm with a Country theme and something for everyone from live country music, square dancing lessons, live music galore and merchants will be rolling out the red carpet with Country-themed specials and promos.
Monument Square will have live music by Empty Bottle Boys and One Shot Jane as well as square dancing demos and lessons by Do-Si-Do. There will be multiple vendors with beer, food, merchandise and more. Live music will be also be playing at Marci’s on Main, Smoke’d on the Water, Reefpoint Brew House, Dimple’s Imports, The Nash, and Uncorkt.
Please note, Main Street (Highways 20 & 32) will be closed from 2pm-9pm for the stunt show. Parking available at the McMynn Ramp, 3rd & Lake Ramp, Shoop (Main & State), and Festival Hall ramp, which includes 8 EV charging stations. All ramps are $2 all day.
Also you could get FREE admission to the Racine Art Museum, which celebrates 20 years in 2023!
In addition to First Fridays, check out the rest of downtown Racine. Right along the shores of Lake Michigan you can explore their marina, near the beach, zoo, Frank Lloyd Wright architecture and SC Johnson sites.
