The legendary, annual Heart of the North Spooner Rodeo welcomes professional rodeo’s top competitors from around the country in Spooner to vie for points and prize money. How they do in Spooner can affect their ability to qualify for circuit finals, other rodeo competitions, and at year’s end the National Finals itself held annually in Las Vegas each December.
Cowboys and women barrel racers from around the Midwest and beyond participate in the Spooner Rodeo each year. For fans, plenty of thrills, spills, chills, and the overall excitement – to watch, to take part in, to enjoy – great fun, great food, and great memories to take home from each performance. Extras include shopping at the vendors’ booths all three days, special happenings at each show, prizes to win, great music after each rodeo performance, and old friends to visit and party with. And on Rodeo Saturday afternoon uptown, the huge Spooner Rodeo Parade with more than 100 units, bands, floats, horses galore, fire trucks, politicians, prizes, kids and more.
Rodeo performances happen each night at 7:30 on the Washburn County Fairgrounds, just off U.S. 63 in Spooner. U.S. 53 brings you there via expressway, and Highway 70 crosses just to the north – right by the ticket office!

Adults: $16 General Admission, $20 Reserved Seats, $32 for a 3-day General Admission Pass
Children: $8 General Admission, $10 Reserved Seats, $16 for a 3-day General Admission Pass
