12 Hours of Road America Run Ride Duathlon« Back to Events
12 Hours of Road America is an EPIC bike and run racing event that happens Saturday and Sunday, August 22-23, 2020. The legendary Road America race track in Elkhart Lake provides riders and runners the opportunity to race on the same pavement that has made history in auto racing since the 1950s. The racing happens overnight on the partially illuminated track and roads around the track to offer over 4 miles of twists, turns, and hills, making this a one-of-a-kind racing experience that welcomes all levels.
The paddock area for 12 Hours of Road America invites athletes and spectators to listen to live music, enjoy the beer garden, visit food trucks, enjoy a midnight pizza party, pancake breakfast and evening movies in victory lane.
All this fun, while enabling myTEAM TRIUMPH to continue their mission of building more inclusive communities and allowing athletes with disabilities to compete in races around the country. Registration closes Friday, August 21st; riders and runners are expected to have raised $500 in pledges by race day, and Road America offers some fundraising incentives, too! You can get a 10% discount when you register with the code LETSRIDE.
Road America, which has quite a few events yet to host during the 2020 season, is right along Highway 67 about five miles north of Plymouth and Highway 23, on the southern edge of Elkhart Lake. Highway 57 also brings you close, just angle west near Johnsonville (yes, that Johnsonville, where the bratwurst company is headquartered!)
