December Across Wisconsin

milwaukee_sunsetatvalleypowerplant
The setting sun’s light gets caught in the water vapor escaping from the Valley Power Plant in Milwaukee, right next to I-43/94.

December’s here and we’re fully into the holiday season! Our mild weather is making travel easier – though not by snowmobile – yet there are still tons of Christmas and other holiday events are happening all over Wisconsin. Check out the state, highway by highway… Pick Some Roads and GO!!!

One thing we recommend? The Gobbler reopened as a performance venue, but keeping many of the building’s original touches. Check it out in Johnson Creek along Highway 26 and I-94!

We have new route postings, like Highway 142 with the Bong Recreation Area and the Mars Cheese Castle, and Highway 107 with its beautiful drive over the hills of Marathon County and along the Wisconsin River. There’s plenty more to come, keep checking back and follow us on Facebook or Twitter!
