Lake Geneva Venetian Fest



Lake Geneva Venetian Festival, every August in Lake Geneva, WisconsinLake Geneva knows how to throw a great party, and the 61st annual Lake Geneva Venetian Fest – sponsored by the Lake Geneva Jaycees and running from Wednesday, August 16th through Sunday, August 20th – is a prime example. Five days of fun in town and along the shores of Geneva Lake awaits with a carnival, an arts and crafts fair, a Saturday water ski show, and the Sunday lighted boat parade complete with fireworks to cap it all off.

The Entertainment Pavilion includes a beer tent and stage for live music. Here’s the Music Schedule:

The Arts & Crafts Fair is returning to Venetian Fest and features over 110 exhibitors. It runs Saturday from 10am – 5pm and Sunday from 10am – 4pm in Library Park, right along Highway 50/Main Street along the lake on the west edge of downtown, just down from The Riviera. Details…

The Lake Geneva Venetian Festival Carnival offers family fun via “Mr. Ed’s Magical Midways” and is open every day of the festival: Wednesday-Thursday 5pm to 10:30pm, Friday 5pm – 11:30pm, Saturday Noon to 11:30pm, and Sunday Noon to 10:30pm.

Saturday you can experience the Baggo Tourney, which takes place at the Entertainment Pavilion in Flatiron Park. It’s a double elimination straight to 21. It starts at 11:30am Saturday and runs until about 3pm.

Lake Geneva Venetian Festival Water Ski Show on Geneva Lake in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin

Sunday is the topper, with all the Carnival and Arts & Crafts Fair activities, THREE performers covering live music, and the Lake Geneva Jaycees Water Ski Show featuring the Wonder Lake Ski Team. They’ll perform on Geneva Lake right by the Riviera starting at 6pm. At dusk, the Lighted Boat Parade begins with the theme this year being “Rat Pack” for Lake Geneva Venetian Fest’s 61st anniversary. It concludes with fireworks following the parade.

All of this fun is in downtown Lake Geneva, which is easily accessed via U.S. 12 or Highways 50 and 120. Highway 67 brings you close, as it runs along the west side of Geneva Lake. Make it a road trip destination the weekend of August 16th-20th!

Milwaukee Boat Show



The Milwaukee Boat Show is Wisconsin’s largest, motoring through January 21-23 and 26-30, 2022 with over 300 boats from over 80 manufacturers.  Motor yachts to 48 feet to aluminum fishing boats, ski boats, pontoons, runabouts & jet skis, plus dock systems & marine accessories.

Tall Ships Festival, Green Bay

Tall Ship, Green BayGreen Bay once again has been awarded the honor of hosting a fleet of tall ships as part of the TALL SHIPS CHALLENGE® Great Lakes 2019 Race Series. One of only 11 ports in North America and one of 7 in the USA, the Port of Green Bay will be home to nine majestic vessels July 26-28 as part of Nicolet Bank Tall Ships®, offering a wide variety of entertainment and experiences.

Dockside touring ships allow event-goers to learn about each ship’s rich history and meet the crew. Sailing ships offer even more of an experience as they hoist their anchor and sail down the river to the mouth of the bay. Daily programming includes a full day of entertainment that is sure to make lasting memories. In addition to sail excursions and on-board tours, this year a variety of on-board experiences will be available for purchase.

For parking, you can use metered and un-metered street parking throughout downtown. Parking lots and ramps plus bicycle parking are also available. Limited ADA parking will be available at Leicht Park on a first come, first served basis. The Neville Museum, across the street from the festival, will be selling parking and will have ADA spaces available also on a first come first served basis.

Parking shuttles, powered by the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, will be running from the Main Street Ramp (East) and Larsen Green (West side near Titletown Brewery) and the Neville Museum near the festival entrance.

Leicht Memorial Park is along the Fox River in downtown Green Bay, right where U.S. 141 (Main/Dousman Streets) crosses the river. Highway 29 crosses just to the south. Titletown Brewing Company is right next door. I-43’s massive Leo Frigo Bridge leapfrogs the area a few blocks to the north. I-41 and Highways 32, 54, 57, and 172 also bring you to Green Bay so you can enjoy this massive event!

La Crosse Area Boat, Sports, Travel, and RV Show


Spreading across all of the La Crosse Center, the 42nd annual La Crosse Boat, Sports, Travel, RV and Hunting Show takes place February 7th – 10th, 2019.  Bigger and better than ever, there’s more to see and more to do for the entire family.

This event showcases the widest variety of outdoor recreation equipment and activities all assembled in one place. Virtually every make and model of the newest 2019 boats will be on display along with motors, trailers, docks and lifts from a variety of manufacturers. All displays will be manned by well-informed representatives eager to show you the advantages of their product and often offering discounts available only at the show.

La Crosse Area Boat, Travel, Sport, Hunting, and RV Show

Each year there are new attractions and this year is no different. Don’t miss your chance to meet Time Bandit Captain Johnathan Hillstrand as seen on Discovery Channel’s Deadliest Catch. Johnathan will be appearing for the first time ever in La Crosse at the show on Friday and Saturday. Watch the Extreme Raptor Show or stroll through a Predators & Prey Exhibit. Attend one of Mad Dog & Merrill’s grilling presentations. Have your rack scored free of charge by Boone & Crockett Pope & Young. Back by popular demand is the colorful Parakeet Landing. Fish at the Rainbow Trout Pond. Don’t forget to bring the kids for free face painting and balloon animals with Cherri Merri Muffin. It’s all at the show along with hunting & fishing seminars from top professionals in their fields.

Again this year at the La Crosse Boat, Sports, Travel, RV & Hunting Show, nearly every make and model of RV’s, Fifth Wheels and Travel Trailers will be represented with friendly, knowledgeable personnel available to be sure you choose the unit that best fits your needs. If you are looking to plan your summer getaway many Resorts and Lodges will be on hand representing everything from bare-bones shelter to luxury vacationing with all the amenities. Guide services will also be at the show. These experienced professionals can show you where the best fishing spots are and give you information on what bait, lures and fishing techniques to help you get the most from your fishing excursion.

If hunting catches your fancy, you won’t be disappointed. Hunting destinations from Canada and as far away as Africa will be at the show. Also, be sure to check out the hunting equipment and accessories on display and consult with the staff to find the items that are just right for you. Boone and Crockett, Pope and Young will also be on hand and will measure your trophy racks for free while explaining the methods used to determine each measurement.

Hunting and Fishing seminars will be conducted throughout the entire run of the show. These interesting and informative seminars are given by top professionals in their fields. RV & Boat Show, Oshkosh

The RV and Boat Show Main Event in Oshkosh, right at the EAA AirVenture Museum, offers nearly 100,000 square feet of RV’s, Boats, Golf Carts, Campgrounds, and more in heated buildings.

Whether you are shopping for a new travel trailer, fifth wheel, motor home, speed boat, fishing boat, pontoon boat, or just want to see what’s out there and collect information about RV rentals, campgrounds, golf carts, boating or docks, this show will surprise you with a wide variety to choose from!

The RV and Boat Show runs Friday, March 4th from noon-9pm, Saturday, March 5th from 10am-8pm, and Sunday, March 6th from 11am-4pm. There’s also the Hops ‘N Props event there Friday night!

Admission is $5; seniors (62 and over) $4; children 17 & under free. Admission is valid all weekend. Also, proof of paid admission to this show gets you half off admission to the EAA AirVenture Museum! Full details are available at their website.

To get to Oshkosh and experience the RV and Boat Show, take I-41, U.S. 45, or Highways 21, 26, 44, 76, or 91. The event is right along I-41 between the exits for Highway 26 and for Highways 44/91.
