Windigo Fest« Back to Events
Windigo Fest is a celebration of all things Halloween. For 2021, this spine-chilling festival will take place at Manitowoc’s Expo Grounds, same place where the Manitowoc County Fair is held on the west end of town – there’s a lot of room on those grounds! All Hallows Eve enthusiasts with a hunger for the strange and unusual can experience a weekend filled with various seasonal activities including outstanding music, costume contests, dark art exhibits and contests, bizarre performances, and the historical cemetery bus tour. Windigo Fest kicks off Friday evening. After a day full of Halloween havoc, a parade will again display the Midwest’s best competitive costumes.
IT IS HALLOWEEN SO WEAR A COSTUME!!!!!
Windigo Fest runs Friday, October 1st, Saturday, October 2nd, and Sunday, October 3rd at the Manitowoc Expo Grounds. The grounds are easily accessible off I-43, at U.S. 151 and Highway 42 (Exit #149). U.S. 10 arrives in Manitowoc a few miles north of the Expo Grounds, which are accessible from U.S. 10 via I-43 or County R/Rapids Road (which was the original main highway – U.S. 141 – between Milwaukee and Green Bay before I-43 was built.)
