Windigo Fest is “a Festival of Folklore Freaks and ALL Things Halloween!” For 2022, this spine-chilling festival will take place at Manitowoc’s Expo Grounds, same place where the Manitowoc County Fair is held on the west end of town – there’s a lot of room on those grounds! All Hallows Eve enthusiasts with a hunger for the strange and unusual can experience a weekend filled with various seasonal activities including outstanding music, costume contests, dark art exhibits and contests, bizarre performances, and the historical cemetery bus tour. Windigo Fest kicks off Friday evening. After a day full of Halloween havoc, a parade will again display the Midwest’s best competitive costumes.
