Harvest Fair/Maker Faire at State Fair Park« Back to Events
Harvest Fair at Wisconsin State Fair Park features tons of fall-focused events, activities, live entertainment, competitions, scarecrow making and the much anticipated Pumpkin Bowling. It runs September 27-29, 2019 and has FREE admission.
Check out the Antique Tractors Display, the Backyard Circus, Camel and Pony Rides, a Farmers’ Market, Free Live Music, Giant Cookie Decorating, Hay Rides, a Kiddie Tractor Maze, “Make Your Own Caramel Apple” fun (they provide a lot of toppings), even a chance for kids to slide down the “World’s Largest Piggy Bank.” Headlining musical acts include Morgan Wallen, Mark Farner’s American Band, Bobby Way and the Fabulous Wayouts, and local cover band favorites Cherry Pie.
Also, Maker Faire is happening there the same weekend! Co-sponsored by the Milwaukee Makerspace and Betty Brinn Children’s Museum, Maker Faire brings together an eclectic group of artists, crafters, hobbyists and inventors to showcase their passion for building, design, and demonstration. Maker Faire Milwaukee & Robofest will take place in the Exposition Center Saturday and Sunday. Demonstrations, hands-on workshops and activity areas showcasing 3D Printing, Robotics, lasers, and alternative energy (just as a start) will be featured. There’ll be competitive high school robotics teams and a remote control racing competition.
And, a lot more! Check their website for full schedules and details.
