The 44th annual Great River Folk Festival is a family-friendly weekend features outdoor contemporary and traditional folk music right in La Crosse’s beautiful Riverside Park. Along with the music, you can enjoy demonstrations of traditional crafts and plenty of craft items for sale from artists across the spectrum, ethnic food and children’s activities. Check out the full music schedule below. Ticket prices vary from $10 for a Saturday Day Pass to $45 for an All Events Pass (prices go up after August 16th for some of these.) Get details here.
Riverside Park is a beautiful space along the Mississippi River on the west edge of downtown La Crosse. Along with the Great River Folk Festival you’ll find historic and contemporary statutes, beautiful views of the river and bluffs, access to riverboats, restaurants, hotels, the Turtle Stack Brewing Company, and plenty of hotels to spend the night – all within easy walking distance.
U.S. 14, 53, and 61, as well as Highways 16, 33, 35, and I-90 all bring you to La Crosse, which has plenty of other fun things to check out, too!
