Wisconsin Events on a Wisconsin Weekend: Maple Fall Fest in Marshfield, Wisconsin

New Podcast: gearing up for fall with Marshfield’s Maple Fall Fest and more, all the tasty and fun details here!

In the latest State Trunk Tour Podcast, fall officially starts next week, but this weekend fall festivals abound, including Maple Fall Fest in Marshfield, which deserves to be a destination when you want to explore central Wisconsin. We talk with Matt McLean of Visit Marshfield about this huge festival involving fall activities, plenty of crafty vendors and entertaining performances, Mad Dog & Merrill grilling it up, all with lots of maple involved. You can also win a trip package to Marshfield, explore some new Jurustic Park metal art creations, check out new historic exhibits, shop and eat to your hearts content on vibrant Central Avenue, and since Wildwood Park & Zoo has two kodiak bears, we ponder the question for fall: do bears like pumpkins?

Marshfield is a great destination for fun in central Wisconsin, being ideally located in the midst of the state. The city offers a lot to do, see, shop, explore, and enjoy right in town, with plenty of other sights within an easy drive. Marshfield has a number of great lodging options and it’s easy to access via U.S. 10, Highway 13, Highway 80, or Highway 97.

Enjoy our conversation with Matt McLean of Visit Marshfield here, and check out Maple Fall Fest this weekend!
