US Olympic Long Track Trials« Back to Events
The Pettit National Ice Center hosts the 2018 US Olympic Long Track Speedskating Trials January 2-7, 2018! The Pettit is one of only two official US Olympic training facilities in the United States, and the Trials are formally returning to the Oval here for the first time since 1998. The timing is impeccable – and also quite coincidental – with the Pettit’s 25th Anniversary.
For six nights you can experience the best in US speedskating competition as they get primed to pursue Gold in the 2018 Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. As you watch these incredible athletes at the US Olympic Long Track Speedskating Trials, enjoy food and beverages and plenty of activities in the “fan zone” tent which will be located just east of the front entrance to the Center, facing I-94.
Opportunities for VIP experiences and access will make events memorable for groups, companies, and organizations. During the days before, during, and after the Trials, please note that the Center’s normal activities will change. Please check the activity schedules closely for hours and changes.
You can purchase tickets here or at the Pettit itself. Their front office is open 9am-8pm seven days a week except major holidays. You can also purchase “walk-up” tickets the day of each event; these will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Pettit is right along Highway 181/84th Street at I-94, just north of Highway 59/Greenfield Avenue, south of U.S. 18/Bluemound Road, and east of I-41/U.S. 45/I-894 on the Milwaukee-West Allis border. And hey, by January, that exit to 84th Street from eastbound I-94 and southbound I-41/US 45 should be open!
