The “Smiley Barn” was a Delafield staple along I-94 at Highway 83 for decades before the smiling facade was removed by new owners of the barn, which is a retail store. In 2018. the “Smiley Face” returned, much to the delight of travelers, some of whom used it as a roadside benchmark.
