Road America Ariens Art on Wheels Weekend

The Ariens Art On Wheels Weekend featuring The VSCDA Weekend draws vintage racers from across the U.S. as they take to the track September 15th-17th at Road America. This vintage racing weekend draws over 300 vintage and historic race cars across 11 racing classes to run over the three-day race event. The fan-friendly paddock is open to spectators for close-up views of amazing racing machines prepared to era specifications.

Ariens Art on Wheels at Road America in Elkhart Lake

As part of its commitment to honoring America’s heroes, Road America will also provide free admission to all active, reserve-duty military and veterans with ID all weekend.

Get updates and tickets on the Road America website. Anyone 16 and under gets in FREE with a paying adult. You can take advantage of that offer at the gate with proof of age. Racing runs rain or shine.

You’ll find Road America along Highway 67 just north of Highway 23 and Plymouth and just west of Highway 57 in Sheboygan County.

Motor Mania

Motor Mania is on a mission is to build a community of high-octane enthusiasts who possess passion for anything with a motor. So join them June 25-27, 2021 at the Washington County Fairgrounds for Motor Mania, a great event for everyone who loves motorsports of all kinds. Trucks, Muscle cars, Hot Rods, Bikes, New Muscle, Antique and Imports. Don’t miss the music, fun and great people. For three days, you can enjoy the Builder Showcase, over 1,000 custom Hot Rods and Classics, Live Music at the Amphitheater, a SWAP Meet, food trucks, and dozens of vendors.

Music acts include Jack Russell’s Great White on Friday, Steelheart (can the guy still hit the high note on “Never Let You Go”??) Saturday, and Counts 77 on Sunday.

Ticket prices vary based on whether you want general admission or VIP concert access. Adults are $20 for general admission and Kids are $10 (plus fees), while concert access can run closer to $45. Get all the info and buy tickets here.

Washington County Fair Park is right along the U.S. 45 freeway on the south end of West Bend. Highways 33 and 144 bring you to West Bend, while you can also access the park from Highway 60 to U.S. 45 north. It’s part of a great road trip, since you can also check out Kettle Moraine and its scenic drives nearby!

Motor Mania is holding this event near West Bend, but their HQ is in Greenfield, a “dream garage” at 4251 S. 27th Street – the original U.S. 41 – with an amazing array of classic cars, hot rods, games, ice cold beer – it’s a pretty cool place and they are reopening it closer to fall. We’ll keep you posted!

Greater Milwaukee International Car & Truck Show

Check out the newest models of car, trucks, and while admiring the finest classics at the Greater Milwaukee International Car & Truck Show, also known as the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show! The auto industry showcases the new cars of the 21st century at this annual family event at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Expo Center in West Allis, right along Highways 59 and 181 just off I-94. Over 400 vehicles will be on display; you can take some for test drives! COVID precautions will be followed.

On Thursday, May 5th, check out Sip & Savor, from 6:30 – 9:00pm! Your Sip & Savor ticket includes Auto Show admission and samples of over 70 beers from 25+ craft brewers, great bites from local restaurants, and enjoy browsing among over 400 new cars and trucks as you do it. The first 1,500 guests to the Greater Milwaukee Auto Show’s Sip & Savor get a free 4-oz. commemorative tasting glass. Tickets for Sip & Savor run $25 online or on-site! Designated drivers get free admission (and no beers, of course.)

Details on everything available can be found on their website. It’s presented by ADAMM, the Automobile Dealers Association of Mega Milwaukee.

Tickets are $10 for adults 13 and over if they are pre-ordered online ($12 at the gate), Children ages 8-12 are $8, Senior Citizens (62+, Thursday – Friday only) can get in for $9. Children 7 and under are admitted free. All ticket details are available here.
Parking is accessible via Gates 1, 4, and 5. Gates 4 and 5 are off 84th Street/Highway 181 from I-94 and to the south; Gate 1 is along Greenfield Avenue/Highway 59, accessible easily by heading east off I-41/894/U.S. 45. Parking runs $6 for vehicles and $3 for motorcycles.
