Oshkosh Celebration of Lights« Back to Events
The Oshkosh Celebration of Lights lights up the Lake Winnebago shoreline at beautiful Menominee Park every holiday season! This year, it runs from Friday, November 27th through Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 every evening from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.
The lights in the park reflect beautifully off the Lake Winnebago coast as you peruse a 1.2-mile stretch of illuminated holiday wonder. A 100-foot tree, sculptured scenes, twinkling animated light displays and accompanying holiday music makes this part of Oshkosh magical during the holidays.
Along with walking or driving through Menominee Park, you can enjoy a carriage ride through the grounds on select nights! There’s plenty of social distancing and the carriages are sanitized between each ride. You can book a carriage at 920-303-9200; they reserve rides in half-hour increments from 6pm to 8:30pm on the evenings of December 9th, 10th, 14th, 16th, 17th, or 21st. The carriages cost $70 and can hold four adults and two lap children; the prices includes tickets for driving through the park.
General Admission per carload is $10.00 with $1.00 off for a non-perishable in-date food donation. Food pantries across the area – scheduled by United Way – benefit from Celebration of Lights, so you’re helping for the holidays, too! Menominee Park also has a zoo you can enjoy, any time of the year.
Oshkosh Celebration of Lights is open every day, 5:30pm – 9:00pm. I-41, U.S. 45, and Highways 21, 26, 44, 76, and 91 all bring you to Oshkosh!
