Downtown Racine Beer & Bacon Walk« Back to Events
Craft beer and bacon lovers, this is for you! Racine Downtown hosts its first annual Downtown Racine Beer & Bacon Walk on Saturday, November 7th, 2020. As you walk the streets of downtown, enjoy beer samples from local breweries, paired with delicious bacon and bacon-infused bites across 20 different locations.
Breweries involved include Racine Brewing Company, located right along Main Street in downtown Racine; R’Noggin Brewing Company out of Kenosha; Public Brewing out of Kenosha; Kings & Convicts Brewing Company from Highwood, Illinois; City Lights Brewing Company from Milwaukee; and Lakefront Brewing out of Milwaukee. What kinds of food pairings might be there? Glad you asked! Enjoy maple bacon mini-crullers, chicken and bacon street tacos, bacon hash brown fritters, dark chocolate-covered bacon with candied pecans… and that’s just some of them!
Hungry yet? Thirsty yet? It all happens Saturday afternoon, November 7th. Tickets are $30 for all those brews and bacon bites; $40 VIP tickets include a 16oz pint glass to keep, one free full-pour of any beer, and a free bacon-infused shot at Marci’s on Main. You can buy them online or get your tickets by calling 262-634-6002.
It’s easy to get to downtown Racine, along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. Just head east from I-41/94 via Highway 20 (Exit #333), County K (Exit #329), or Highway 11 (Exit #335) approximately 8 miles; or Highway 38 can bring you in from Milwaukee, and Highway 32 brings you to downtown Racine north from Kenosha and Illinois or south from Oak Creek and Milwaukee’s south suburbs.
