This vintage racing event brings the past back to life with the sights\, sounds and smells from motorsport’s pioneering age both on and off the track. \nThe SVRA (SportsCar Vintage Racing Association) weekend at Road America includes a packed vintage race car schedule featuring classic race cars covering several decades. Many of the entries have previously competed at classic events like Le Mans and the Indy 500. SVRA is one of the oldest organizations in vintage racing\, and the only one with a national presence\, committed to presenting the best possible experience for competitors and fans. From 200 MPH INDY and Formula 1 cars to classic Jaguars and Porsches\, SVRA races provide a rolling history of motorsport where the cars are the stars at legendary tracks across the country. \nThe SVRA Spring Vintage Festival Weekend lineup includes race groups for all twelve SVRA classes including Formula 5000\, Formula Ford\, sports racing\, and production sports cars. The classes feature the best classic sportscars from prestigious marques such as Lotus\, Alfa Romeo\, Jaguar\, Porsche and Corvette with models from the ’50s\, ’60s and ’70s. SUMMARY:Syttende Mai Festival\, Stoughton
DESCRIPTION:Stoughton’s Syttende Mai festival is a weekend-long celebration of Norwegian heritage featuring fun activities and cultural experiences for the whole family. Check out three days of parades\, amazing food and drink\, arts and music\, athletic competitions\, and kids’ activities steeped in centuries of Norwegian culture. From the late 1800s to the early 1900s\, Stoughton enjoyed an influx of Norwegians\, and at one time\, as many as 75 percent of its residents spoke Norwegian. These immigrants celebrated Syttende Mai unofficially\, but it became an annual\, city-wide tradition in the 1950s. \nThe city-wide festival takes place every year on the weekend closest to Norway’s May 17th Constitution Day\, also known as Syttende Mai. In 2026\, the festivities run through the weekend of May 15th through the 17th. The Arts & Crafts Fair attracts arts and crafts enthusiasts and artists who appreciate Norwegian culture and its role in the arts. The Stoughton festival features an annual juried craft fair where artisans and artists show and sell their hand-crafted works. The Norwegian art of rosemaling\, or decorative painting\, traditional Norwegian embroidery and quilts are all on display. Many artists hold public demonstrations of how they create their works\, too. It’s a great opportunity for Stoughton festival-goers to meet the artists and appreciate the art’s deep roots in traditional Norwegian culture. It includes the Arts & Craft Fair\, Hardanger Embroidery Exhibit\, the Quilt Show\, the Rosemaling Exhibit and Sale\, and Norwegian Cultural Demonstrations. Each year\, a couple learns of their nomination in September and must keep it a secret from everyone\, even friends and family\, for five months. During the Stoughton Norwegian Dancers’ February Norse Afternoon of Fun\, the new king and queen receive their crowns and join previous years’ honorees. \nAlthough their reign is symbolic\, the annual Syttende Mai King and Queen dress in traditional Norwegian clothing\, or bunad\, for the entire festival. In addition to opening the festival\, the couple attend more than 40 events over the weekend. They are the festival’s icons and serve as cultural ambassadors to visitors. Presented by Johnsonville\, it takes place Memorial Day weekend at Willow Island\, right by the Alliant Energy Center. Putting the sizzle into summer for over 30 years\, Brat Fest is one of the Midwest’s largest and best\, family-friendly music festivals right in the heart of the capital city. And they’ve also sold over 4 million brats! \nBrat Fest Music Lineup\nThe diverse music lineup features over 70 bands covering folk\, country\, jazz\, blues\, R&B/soul\, and rock… Get the full lineup below! \nIt’s not all about the music\, however. Enjoy ice cold beverages and tasty food\, including BRATS\, of course. The Bratteyball Tournament is a “bratty” volleyball tournament with four divisions competing on Saturday. You can even enjoy tours and tastings at the SunDrop Museum. \nSun Drop soda is being made and bottled in returnable glass bottles. Tour the Sun Drop museum at 920 S. Franklin Street and experience fun interactive displays. Most importantly\, visit the tasting room and sample their different soda flavors. They include Farmer’s Brew butterscotch root beer\, rhu-berry\, caramel apple\, blue raspberry\, black cherry\, cream\, or the original “Golden Soda” Sun Drop. Horse wagon rides will be available between the museum and the park so you can enjoy a ride to the tours and tastings! \nFriday late afternoon into the evening\, kids can enjoy the Kidz Zone with inflatables and more. DESCRIPTION:The Lakefront Festival of Art (LFOA) is one of the premier art festivals in the country. This family-friendly festival at the world-famous Milwaukee Art Museum features over 170 national artists with art for sale in a variety of media\, including paintings\, sculptures\, jewelry\, photography\, printmaking\, wood\, ceramics\, fiber\, and more. DESCRIPTION:Polish Fest is the largest Polish cultural festival in America\, and it’s right on Milwaukee’s lakefront! SUMMARY:Sister Bay Roofing of the Goats Parade
DESCRIPTION:Well\, THIS is an interestingly-named event: the Roofing of the Goats Parade takes place at Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant & Butik in Sister Bay\, Wisconsin on Saturday\, June 13th\, 2026 at 11:00 am right along Highway 42. \nAll goats are invited to participate in the 12th annual Roofing of the Goats parade! Don’t have a goat? Then line up and watch the famous Al Johnson’s goats while they head down the streets to climb up onto the sod roof. They will be joined by many of their local Door County goat friends who will also be at the festivities. Goat costumes\, goatees\, Viking hats\, and other creative endeavors are encouraged. The parade begins at the corner of Mill Road and Highway 42 in downtown Sister Bay\, and goes a trot\, kick and a leap down the road to Al Johnson’s Swedish Restaurant. The parade culminates with the roofing of the first goats of the season at Al Johnson’s (weather permitting – the goats don’t go on the roof in rain or snow). The Goat Parade will be followed by Al Johnson’s annual Goat Fest\, located at Stabbur Beer Garden\, next to the restaurant. Goat Fest will feature all day festivities including: live music\, kid’s games\, various beverages\, great food\, and a Swedish Pancake Eating contest. DESCRIPTION:The 82nd annual Greek Fest Sheboygan takes place Friday – Sunday\, June 26-28\, 2026 in Sheboygan’s Deland Park on the shores of Lake Michigan! Greek Fest\, sponsored by St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church\, is three full days of authentic Greek food\, pastries\, beer and wine\, and traditional music. \nThe dance performances and usual Sunday Liturgy service is back in 2026! Wander through the Festival for other locally made delicacies such as strawberry pie\, strawberry crepes\, strawberry slushies and chocolate-covered strawberries. Schmit’s Berry Farm\, a local grower\, provides the festival with the most ripe and juicy strawberries\, available for purchase by the quart. \nFor attendees with a taste for wine\, Cedar Creek Winery’s Strawberry Blush Wine is a must – this and the winery’s other award-winning wines can be purchased by the glass throughout the Cedarburg Strawberry Festival. \nWander down Washington Avenue and you’ll see why “Art is a Tradition” in Cedarburg. Fondly referred to as “Arts on the Avenue\,” Strawberry Festival highlights more than 250 of the best local and Midwest artists who bring their combined perspectives\, skills\, and thousands of works of arts to the streets of Cedarburg\, including paintings\, sculpture\, ceramics\, jewelry\, fiber art\, fine glass\, woodwork\, mixed media\, and photography. Art on the Avenue is a combined effort of four local organizations\, the Cedarburg Cultural Center\, Cedar Creek Settlement Merchant’s Association\, the Ozaukee Art Center and the Cedarburg Art Museum\, and offers one-of-a-kind works of art from functional to surreal\, from witty to the elegantly decorative\, as well as the opportunity to meet most of the artists in person. \nCedar Creek Settlement events at the north end of town include live bands\, food\, and features a new Cedar Creek Marketplace as well as a merchant’s marketplace and indoor shopping.  The Sunday Morning Strawberry Pancake Breakfast will be worth checking out.   The popular breakfast takes place on the north end of the Festival grounds from 8:00-11:00 a.m. and is served by the Cedar Creek Settlement merchants. More than 1\,000 customers get their fill of mouthwatering strawberry pancakes while listening to live music outside along Cedar Creek. \nLive music all over the Festival’s Historic District satisfies every audiophile all day Saturday and Sunday. DESCRIPTION:It’s Milwaukee’s annual French festival\, one of the largest French celebrations in the United States\, and it’s tres magnifique! This FREE four-day bash attracts over 250\,000 visitors each year. In 2026\, Bastille Days runs Thursday\, July 9th through Sunday\, July 12th. Set around Cathedral Square on the east side of downtown\, Bastille Days begins with a 5K “Storm the Bastille” run on Thursday night and then plenty of live music\, an international marketplace\, chef and wine demos\, French and Cajun cuisine\, roaming busker entertainment and a signature 43-foot Eiffel Tower replica offering hourly light shows. \nThe event is known for the impromptu street performers\, roaming minstrels\, and a variety of interactive and musical entertainment. DESCRIPTION:The legendary\, annual Heart of the North Spooner Rodeo welcomes professional rodeo’s top competitors from around the country in Spooner to vie for points and prize money. How they do in Spooner can affect their ability to qualify for circuit finals\, other rodeo competitions\, and at year’s end the National Finals itself held annually in Las Vegas each December. \nCowboys and women barrel racers from around the Midwest and beyond participate in the Spooner Rodeo each year.
