DESCRIPTION:On Sunday of Labor Day weekend\, the Big Gig BBQ will take place on the Summerfest Grounds to coincide with the Harley-Davidson annual Rally! Enjoy the best BBQ in town on the south end of Henry Maier Festival Park from Noon – 7pm\, rain or shine. The Big Pig BBQ will be serving up smoky ribs\, savory brisket and signature BBQ from 14 of the best local and national cookers. \nAn officially sanctioned event of the Milwaukee Rally\, the Big Gig BBQ will feature two stages of live entertainment\, including a national headliner\, and the finest beer. Some of the BBQ participants include: \nChar’d Milwaukee\nIron Grate BBQ Co.\nPigtailz MKE\nPop’s BBQ\nRollin’ Smoke BBQ\nSaucy Swine\nSaz’s State House\nSilver Spur Texas Smokehouse BBQ\nSmoke Shack\nYummy Bones BBQ \nThe cooker voted “fan favorite” wins the Big Gig Pig Award! \nAs they say\, the fun goes beyond the food (which also includes the Corn Man\, kettle corn\, ice cream and more.) There will be plenty of live music on two stages\, Cooking Demonstrations\, Family Fun Picnic Games (including Giant Jenga\, Kerplunk\, and the legendary “Mechanical Pig” you can ride)\, even a Celebrity Bacon-Eating Contest. The grounds have plenty of room for partying\, parking\, and the smells alone will direct you to this tasty event.
