SUMMARY:Between the Bluffs Beer Wine and Cheese Festival
DESCRIPTION:The annual Between the Bluffs Beverages & Bites Festival returns Saturday\, April 25th\, 2026! Between the Bluffs brings together craft beverages\, THC\, and non-alcoholic/mocktail drinks\, specialty meats\, and artisan cheeses from the La Crosse Region\, across Wisconsin\, and throughout the Midwest. Don’t forget to sign-up for the Coulee Region Cornhole Tournament and play some Hammer-Schlagen. \nIt all begins Friday evening\, April 24th\, with Friday Night: Taster’s Eve. You can buy a wristband and ride the shuttles to various participating establishments for specials and tap take-overs by guest breweries attending the fest. \nThe main festival takes place at La Crosse’s Southside Oktoberfest Grounds on Saturday afternoon\, April 25rd\, with general admission ($50) from 2-6pm. VIP tickets ($90) allow for a noon entry. Details on what you get with each are below! \nHere’s how it has looked in previous years! \n﻿ \nSunday\, April 26th is the Bacon Bloody Brunch! DESCRIPTION:The 18th Annual Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival returns to the legendary Brat Stop in Kenosha on Saturday\, April 18th! This fun-filled event features a variety of Wisconsin cheeses\, some of the most sought after beers from Wisconsin and beyond and awesome live music!. This is a “don’t miss event” for anybody who likes beer\, cheese and music! \nThe festival typically draws over 900 attendees and features over 100 different styles of beer\, a home brew competition\, and local breweries with unlimited beer and cheese samples. Additionally\, live music plays all afternoon with the Empty Bottle Boys and One Shot Jane performing. They play in the Parkway Chateau\, adjacent to the Brat Stop. \nDairy State Cheese & Beer Festival Tickets\nThe Dairy State Cheese & Beer Festival has a rather extensive VIP ticket package. For $80 in advance or $85 at the door\, VIP fest goers receive a lunch buffet courtesy of Festival Foods\, specialty cheese and beers\, a VIP beer stein and an extra hour of festing! The food buffet is available for the duration of the fest from noon until 5 p.m. \nGeneral admission tickets are $55 in advance and $60 at the door. All tickets include a commemorative glass\, live music and four hours of unlimited beer and cheese samples. Designated driver tickets are $15. This is a 21+ only event. \nLast time we checked over 50 different brewers will be there. They include large brewers like Miller and Coors to small craft brewers including Lakefront\, Bell’s\, Toppling Goliath\, Bare Bones\, Alaskan\, and more. Local home brew societies also represent at the festival. All will be pouring samples and providing info about their beers and brewing processes. DESCRIPTION:Madison’s Beer & Cheese Fest is back for year 16 in 2026 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison on Saturday\, January 17th\, bringing a ton of brewers and cheesemakers from around Wisconsin and adjoining states to Madison. Meet and mingle with the brewers and cheesemakers while sampling hundreds of varieties at this warm\, happy\, and fun celebration right in the midst of winter. \n80+ beer and beverage vendors slinging samples. More cheese than is doctor recommended. Stein holding competitions and “hammer nailing” competitions (they note that the other word for it is trademarked…seriously) so you can totally impress your friends. Beer will always be the foundation of the event\, but if mead or cider is more your style\, you’ll have plenty to sample. If THC infused refreshments are your jam\, you’ll find a bunch. Spiked seltzer your elixir of choice? Yep\, they got those too. \nTickets tend to sell out every year\, so if you want to go\, score them sooner rather than later. DESCRIPTION:It’s one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the country! La Crosse Oktoberfest celebrates 64 years in 2025\, having hosted its first big Oktoberfest back in 1961. This time of year both Munich and La Crosse are filled with “merrymaking” and a carnival atmosphere known in both cities as Oktoberfest. \nOktoberfest\, USA\, is one of the few authentic Old World folk festivals held annually in the United States. You’ll find plenty of beer\, music\, fun\, food\, lederhosen\, dirndls\, and more complemented with a carnival featuring rides\, parades featuring the annually-elected “Royal Family\,” the 2023 Miss La Crosse/Oktoberfest Pageant\, and enough accordions and Munich-style tents to make you feel like you’re in Deutschland. \nDowntown Fest Grounds open at 4pm on Thursday\, September 25th. The Torchlight Parade will take place at 7pm that evening; Craft Beer Night starts at 4pm and runs until 8pm. DESCRIPTION:Minocqua will again beat as the heart and soul of the Wisconsin craft beer industry once again at the 21st Annual Ice Cold Beer Fest will be held in downtown Minocqua\, Saturday\, February 9\, 2019. Beer\, food and live music all available under a heated big top tent on the Island of Minocqua. Last year\, fest goers were able to sample more than 250 different craft beers that included breweries from Wisconsin\, Minnesota\, Michigan and Illinois. All proceeds from the Ice Cold Beer Fest benefit their local Dr. Kate Hospice. \nPREMIER TASTING — Only 200 Premier Tasting Tickets will be sold. This event delegates those ticket holders to a prime sampling from noon to 1 p.m.\, to include beers not-to-be released to the general admission crowd. Private bathrooms are also available to these ticket holders ONLY. Included in the price is an individually number commemorative tasting glass along with prime tasting of food to include shrimp\, steak and desserts. The Milwaukee Public Museum’s 18th Annual Food & Froth Fest will be held on Saturday\, Feb. 20\, 2016 from 7 – 10 p.m. \nFood & Froth will feature over 200 different beers from more than 70 breweries\, including Midwest treasures such as Summit Brewing Co.\, which is making its Food & Froth debut\, and international favorites like Germany’s Krombacher Brauerei. Nibble on tasty bites from Screamin’ Sicilian frozen pizza\, sampling a fully loaded pizza perfect for pairing with beer\, as well as many other treats from local restaurants and caterers. Additionally there will be live music on all three exhibit floors\, including a performance by The Whiskey Belles. \nFood & Froth tickets are $75 for members and $125 for VIP tickets. VIP tickets include 5:30 p.m. entrance into the special VIP room filled with exclusive craft beers\, a smorgasbord of unlimited savories and sweets\, and 6:00 p.m. early entry into the event. \nTickets are available by calling (414) 278-2728 or (888) 700-9069 during museum hours. Admission fee covers all food\, beer and live entertainment. You must be at least 21 years of age to attend\, and a valid identification and ticket are required for entrance into the event. \nProceeds benefit the Museum’s exhibits and educational programs.
