Join the Milwaukee County Park System and neighbors from Milwaukee\, Shorewood\, Whitefish Bay and other nearby communities for the Official Kick Off to Beer Garden Season with Milwaukee Maifest at Estabrook Park. Festivities get underway on Thursday\, May 2 at 5:30pm with the 2019 Maibock Anstich – Followed by Free beer until 6:30pm! \nThe fun lasts the whole weekend through Sunday\, May 5th and includes Live Music\, Food\, Dance\, Contests and Beer! Check out the beautiful trails in the park and the nice views of the Milwaukee River\, which flows right past – and below – the Estabook Beer Garden. \nThe Milwaukee River has a nice rapids as its flows past Estabrook Park and the Beer Garden.\nYou can easily get to Estabrook Park and the Beer Garden via Estabrook River Parkway\, just south of Hampton Avenue and about 3/4 mile north of Highway 190/Capitol Drive. Highway 32 goes along Lake Michigan less than two miles to the east\, while Highway 57 and I-43 approach less than two miles to the west. DESCRIPTION:Of course\, Milwaukee is one of the beer capitals of the world\, so you know Milwaukee Beer Week is epic. The city’s longest brewing tradition has risen to a whole new level with an explosion of craft breweries all over the city and suburbs. Participating breweries include Third Space Brewing\, Good City Brewing\, Milwaukee Brewing Company\, New Glarus Brewing Company\, 3 Sheeps Brewing from Sheboygan\, Central Waters Brewing from Amherst\, Founders Brewing\, and even some out-of-state craft breweries like Sierra Nevada and Lagunitas. \nMilwaukee Beer Week runs Saturday\, May 4th – Saturday\, May 11th with events at bars and breweries all over the area.
