SUMMARY:Port Washington Art Walk
DESCRIPTION:An artful way to spend part of Memorial Day weekend is to head to beautiful Port Washington and explore the Port Washington Art Walk downtown. From 11 am to 4pm on Sunday\, May 30th\, at least 15 business in Port Washington’s downtown will host a variety of fine artists\, mixed media artists\, photographers\, musicians\, ceramists\, and more. Some artists will demonstrate their craft in real-time; all will have their art and craft work on display and for sale. Weather permitting\, the artists will be outdoors; otherwise they will be inside their hosting business. Gallery 224 will host the current artist on exhibit\, Kelly Alexander\, from their ARTservancy program. A variety of Port’s local bars and restaurants will also run art-themed specials that day. Look for the children’s art area for kids to make their own art\, along with some great music! It’s free to attend. \nYou can access downtown Port Washington via Highways 32 or 33 from I-43 or Highway 57.
