Fond du Lac hosts the Sturgeon Spectacular Friday-Sunday February 9-11, 2018 on and along the south shores of Lake Winnebago. After all, the Sturgeon’s evolution dates back over 200 million years, haven’t they earned a 3-day celebration? The city at the “bottom of the lake” celebrates these famed “bottom feeders” with a top-drawer weekend of fun for all.
This quirky and fun take on a winter festival features events on the ice and off the ice. Enjoy activities indoors, outdoors and throughout the community. Highlights include a kick-off parade, live musical performances including Boogie and the Yo-yo’z, the hottest party band in Wisconsin, ice and snow carving, comedy shows and the hilarious Guys on Ice show. Whether you love outdoor hockey, kids zones, fat tire bike racing, chili crawls or warming up near a toasty bonfire, you and your family will NOT run out of things to do at this year’s Sturgeon Spectacular.
