Milwaukee Kids Expo

The Milwaukee Kids Expo is the perfect opportunity for families to come out and learn, explore + play together!

This brand new event debuts February 9th & 10th, 2019 and is held at the Exposition Center inside Wisconsin State Fair Park. This two-day expo offers fun experiences for kids of all ages, plus plenty of shopping and information for parents.

Kids will love the various Play Zones set up throughout the hall, including bounce houses, a petting zoo, a rock climbing wall, pony rides, caricature paintings, a maze challenge and more. Stop by the Main Stage for interactive science shows, fairytale princess sing-a-longs, and ballet school demonstrations.

Parents will love our expo hall full of local child-related vendors & businesses (toys and games, sports and fitness classes, learning devices, safety products, day cares, schools, camps and more).

You’ll find Wisconsin State Fair Park’s Expo Center at the corner of Highway 59 (Greenfield Avenue) and Highway 181 (84th Street). The State Fair Park grounds run all the way up to I-94 (where you’ll also find the Pettit National Ice Center) and can easily be accessed via Exit 306 from I-94, as well as northbound and southbound I-41/I-894. U.S. 18/Bluemound Road is just to the north and also provides easy access.

Caricature Expressive Portraits
Open all day Saturday + Sunday
$5 per portrait
Hand-drawn, expressive portraits completed on custom paper to commemorate your family fun at the Kids Expo!

Left Turn Only Maze
Open all day Saturday + Sunday
The LTO (or Left Turn Only) maze is constructed on a 30’x 40′ plastic tarp duct tape was used to replicate city streets. The object is to get from home base to the store without making any right hand turns and without moving in reverse. The maze and its construction is perfect for wheel chair bound participants as long as the indoor surface is wooden (gym floor) or concrete. Groups of up to 25 can fit on the same maze.

Animals of the World with the Racine Zoo
30-minute shows on Saturday + Sunday at the following times: 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:00 p.m.

Have you ever come face to face with an alligator, or touched the back of an endangered turtle? Join the Racine Zoo for our “Animals of the World,” program to learn about, see, and touch animals from around the globe.

Adventure Rock Climbing – Activity for All Ages

$5.00 per person (includes 2 climbs)

Adventure Rock’s portable wall is a great way to wet your appetite for fun and excitement of climbing. Try all the different climbs and see if you can make it to the top!

Petting Zoo & Pony Rides

Pony rides are $6 each; petting zoo is free.
Presented by Jo Don Farms
Come enjoy the animals of Jo Don Farms! Our Petting Zoo is free to enjoy for all ages. Cups of feed will be available for purchase outside the attraction. Children ages 1-10 years of age and or under 100 lbs can enjoy a pony ride at $6.00 each.

“Design 101” Valentine’s Day Project
Open all day Saturday + Sunday
Presented by “The Kohl’s Design It! Lab” at Discovery World
Children will be able to make cards with spiral graph shaped hearts, gems and etc. Find us at our Mobile set-up and make a personalized pop-up card to take home!

Face Painting

Life’s a Party-Face Painting provides professional face painting, special effects makeup, glitter tattoos, hair tinsel, henna and air brush tattoos. Adding color and sparkle to any event.

Rainbow Play Systems Playground

Climb, swing and slide your way around this fun indoor playground, courtesy of Rainbow Play Systems of southern Wisconsin. Rainbow Play Systems has been helping families make childhood memories for over 30 years.

Photo Booth

Grant Images is bringing their super fun photo booth for all ages to enjoy. Be sure to stop by to have your picture taken!

Milwaukee Mile Race

Come check out the race cars for the ARCA Midwest Tour race at the Milwaukee Mile. Feel free to take pictures with the cars and grab a flier about the upcoming event.

Craft-a-Cube

West Allis Fire Department

Check out one of our fire apparatus, get a photo, and meet the firefighters. Give-a-ways will be available for those willing to learn about Hands Only CPR.

Alex McGreen and the Tale of the Mysterious Kale

Presented by Aurora Children’s Health and the Healthy Food Movement
Gather around to hear an explosive tale of how a ten-year-old girl saves her fifth grade science class with kale in the book Alex McGreen and the Tale of the Mysterious Kale. It mixes fiction with real world threats and shows that anyone at any age can cause a healthy food movement. This easy reader is all about food, innovation and community. Participants will learn how to make one of Alex McGreen’s mysterious kale smoothies. Select participants will receive a FREE copy of the book.

Inflatable Brain Exhibit

Enjoy a fun and interactive learning experience by walking through a 10 FOOT TALL inflatable brain! Aurora Children’s Health is bringing the AmeriBrain to the Milwaukee Kids Expo. Plus, test your breath support with cotton ball races or challenge your balance skills on equipment we use in therapy. Lots of activities the entire family will enjoy… you won’t want to miss this!
