Hub City Days logoMarshfield is known as “Hub City” and its 17th annual Hub City Days celebrates the city’s heritage, present, and future. Check out a weekend of fun July 29-30, 2022, including a big screen movie shown right on Central Avenue and Wenzel Family Plaza!

There are two Duathlons, one for kids and one for adults; Food & Craft Vendors, a 3 on 3 Youth Basketball Tournament, a Pork Cook-Off, Martial Arts and Dance Demonstrations, and a Street Dance with live music.

The Hub City Brew Fest will feature craft beers from all over Wisconsin and the Midwest! The Car Show will be right on Central Avenue (Historic Highway 13).

You can reach Marshfield via U.S. 10 or Highways 13, 80, and 97. It’s right in the center of Wisconsin, hence the name “Hub City”!

Friday, July 29th

5:00 pm – 7:00 pm – Hot Time in the City
Join the kick off of Hub City Days at Wenzel Family Plaza! Enjoy a grill-out alfresco as you sample downtown restaurants’ foods. Your $5 donation enters you in the MACCI raffle drawings.

Friday, July 30th

5:00 pm – 9:00 pm Open Street Shopping & Dining Downtown
Streets will be closed to traffic Central Ave – Veteran’s to 4th St. for pedestrians to enjoy evening shopping and dining downtown. Win Hub City Brew Fest tickets! Shop downtown this evening and bring your receipt to the Main Street Marshfield tent at Wenzel Family Plaza between 7-9 p.m. You’ll receive an entry for each receipt you show with your 21+ ID. Winners will be announced at 9 p.m. Tickets will be held at Hub City Brew Fest for those not present for the announcement.

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm Hub City Concert Series featuring Old Soul Society at Wenzel Family Plaza
Grab your picnic blanket or lawn chairs for a leisurely night out on the grass. Main Street Marshfield will be selling soft drinks, including Mini Donut Cream Soda. Proceeds benefit downtown events and programming.

Saturday, July 30th

10:00 am –  3:00 pm Car Show, downtown Marshfield
The Hub City Days Car Show spans over 10 city blocks, features 500+ car/bike entries, a live DJ, kids games, tons of door prizes, free t-shirts for veterans, veteran appreciation raffle (2 PM), kids-only raffle (2 PM), and to bring back the car show with a bang you’ll have the opportunity to see Dennis Anderson and his King Sling monster truck right there in town! Car show vehicle registration is free and runs from 8:00 am – 10:00 am. There is a suggested donation of a non-perishable food item to benefit the United Way programs or $5 to benefit downtown programming. Car show entries can look forward to 80+ trophies and bonus awards, all announced starting at 3:00 pm.

10:00 am – 3:00 pm Family Zone
Find fun for all ages at the Family Zone! Enjoy Simplicity’s Chalk-a-palooza + kiddie games, Marshfield Firetruck, Hiller’s Bounce Houses, Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library features, and more all happening at the Everett Roehl Marshfield Public Library Parking Lot

10:00am – 3:00 pm Horse Power Show at Upham Mansion
Visit the Governor Upham House and walk through an exhibit of horse-drawn carriages dating from the early 1900s.

Noon – 3:00 pm Hub City Brew Fest
Enjoy live music from the Plaza stage by Rising Phoenix. Participants receive a souvenir pint glass and snacks to soak up the suds. $30/ticket. Purchase in person at the Main Street Marshfield office, MACCI, or Blue Heron BrewPub.

Noon – 3:00 pm Bags For Bags Cornhole Tournament
Taking place at the 200 Block of South Maple Avenue beside Tower Hall they offer payouts to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place. Other raffles and winnings will be available throughout the day. Pre-register with Hub City Cornhole on Facebook, or register at the event location day-of from 11 AM to the event start. The cost is $24/team and you can bring your own partner and bags. Proceeds benefit the United Way Backpack Drive.

5:00 pm – 11:00 pm Music & Mocktails
Enjoy non-alcoholic mocktails and fun drinks with no cover charge! Electri-City by KLM Entertainment kicks off at 5:00 pm. Milwaukee’s DJ King James takes the stage to play open-format from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. It happens at the Soo Line Parking Lot behind Uptown Coffee Company/Good Day Sunshine Record Shop.

11:00 am – 11:00 pm Live Music & Beer Garden at Wenzel Family Plaza
Enjoy drinks and socializing in this 21+ space with no cover charge! Rising Phoenix plays 12-3 PM, DJ Lonie G spins 3-7 PM, then Spicy Tie Band takes the stage 7-11 PM.
