Hot Chocolate Fest, Burlington

Burlington is “Chocolate City USA,” so it makes sense for them to have Hot Chocolate Fest in winter, right? This year, Hot Chocolate Fest runs Friday, January 19th through Sunday, January 21st.

The fest includes Pond Hockey and Broom Ball Tournaments on Echo Lake, the Cabin Fever 5K through downtown Burlington, campfire storytelling, a Red Chili contest with area restaurants competing, of course… a “Who has the best hot chocolate??” Contest.

Fortunately, the weather will be a little mild but the ice should be strong and the hot chocolate, while it will still warm up, won’t necessarily need to thaw you. Downtown Burlington has a lot of great places to check out, from the Yo-Yo Museum to Fred’s (famous for their burgers), and more. Follow Highways 11, 36, 83, or 142 – they’ll all bring you to Chocolate City USA and Hot Chocolate Fest.
