Wisconsin Weekend: Platteville Dairy Days celebration

“COWabunga!” as they say. Hit Platteville not only for the natural beauty surrounding it, the World’s Largest M, the Rollo Jamison Museum, a cool downtown and college campus, and museums, but for the 71st Annual Dairy Days at Legion Field the weekend of September 6-8th. This fun packed weekend starts friday with a flea market, amusement rides and beer tent. The parade down Main Street on Saturday morning is followed by a dairy cattle show at Legion Field Park. While at Legion Field Park, enjoy the arts and crafts fair and plenty of fair food. Evenings are filled with truck and tractor pulls, live music and so much more. Heavy on 4-H exhibits, arts, crafts, a market, and dairy show, you can also enjoy Midway rides, family entertainment and more. The Dairy Days Parade will take place on Main Street Saturday, with a car show on Sunday. There’s also a Talent Show and much more. Get the full schedule on their website here!

Admission is FREE, and unlimited rides can be enjoyed for $20 all weekend long.
